Pool House Project is an independent experimental surfboard building project started in the summer of 2011 and brought forward by Giulio Cesare Delettrez Fendi. The project was born in a small cabin adjacent to an inflatable pool, hence the name. The aim of the experiment was to build just a handful of small wave boards in order to enjoy more days of surfing on the Italian coasts. Shaping these boards has gradually led to a strong interest for surfboard design, focusing on building both functional and durable items. The result is a growing collection of innovative surfboard models. Each board is hand shaped from high density EPS blanks and glassed with epoxy resin. At Pool House Project we strongly believe that it is important to engage in the production process. For this reason we send each customer the requested board project along with updates throughout the process. This aspect will help you understand the product and make it more your own. Custom built models offer multiple choices of dimensions, fins, glass, stringer, graphics, colors and finish, in order for every surfer to get something that matches personal taste. So whether your board will be surfed or hung up on the wall, our hope is that you'll enjoy it.
